North Node in the 7th house

The 7th house: Partnership, marriage, close one-to-one relationships, and open opponents.

With the North Node in the seventh house, growth tends to come through partnership, cooperation and learning to share the decisions. You may be invited to consider other people’s needs, to compromise without losing yourself, and to let close relationships shape you. Relying on someone can feel uncomfortable after doing so much alone. Yet genuine collaboration often opens doors that independence could not.

The South Node in the first house suggests that self-reliance, initiative and doing things your own way come naturally. You may be used to taking the lead and trusting your own judgement, and that courage remains a strength. The difficulty is staying so self-directed that others feel shut out. Growth comes from bringing your confidence into relationships as a contribution rather than a defence, and from discovering what you can build together.

The basics

North Node (direction, growth, appetite): Not a body but the point where the Moon's path crosses the ecliptic northward. Modern astrology often reads it as a direction of growth; traditional astrology treats it more simply as a point of increase.
