North Node in the 12th house

The 12th house: What is hidden or withdrawn: solitude, retreat, the unconscious, institutions.

The North Node in the twelfth house points towards growth through reflection, compassion, surrender and the inner life. You may be learning to trust what you cannot measure, to make room for solitude, rest and imagination, and to let go of trying to control every outcome. Quiet can feel unproductive at first. Yet time spent inward often brings a peace and a sense of connection that no checklist can give.

The South Node in the sixth house suggests comfort with order, routines, analysis and practical service. You may be very good at being useful and fixing problems, and those skills remain a real strength. The difficulty is staying busy as a way of avoiding feeling, or criticising what will not fit the plan. Growth comes from bringing your care for detail into a gentler practice, allowing your helpfulness to rest on trust rather than worry.

The basics

North Node (direction, growth, appetite): Not a body but the point where the Moon's path crosses the ecliptic northward. Modern astrology often reads it as a direction of growth; traditional astrology treats it more simply as a point of increase.
