Scryway

North Node in the 1st house

The 1st house: Self, body, appearance and how you meet the world; the start of things.

With the North Node in the first house, growth tends to come through learning to stand on your own feet and act on your own wishes. You may be invited, again and again, to make the first move, say what you want, and trust that your instincts are worth following. Independence can feel unfamiliar or even selfish at first. Yet each time you choose for yourself, you may find your life gains a clearer shape and energy.

The South Node in the seventh house suggests that partnership, diplomacy and attending to others come easily to you. You may be skilled at reading what people need and keeping the peace, and that skill remains a real strength. The difficulty is leaning on it so heavily that you lose track of yourself, waiting for others to decide. Growth comes from bringing that relational wisdom with you while you step forward into your own direction.

The basics

North Node (direction, growth, appetite): Not a body but the point where the Moon's path crosses the ecliptic northward. Modern astrology often reads it as a direction of growth; traditional astrology treats it more simply as a point of increase.
