Mars in the 7th house
The 7th house: Partnership, marriage, close one-to-one relationships, and open opponents.
Mars in the seventh house brings energy and intensity to your partnerships. You may be drawn to people who are strong, direct or competitive, and close relationships often feel lively and charged. You can be a committed ally who will stand up for a partner, and you may do your best work alongside someone who challenges you to rise to the occasion.
You tend to fight for fairness in relationships and may be skilled at negotiation, advocacy or any role where you represent another person’s interests. Some people with this placement find that partnerships push them to develop courage they did not know they had, simply because someone they love needs them to.
The difficulty is that conflict often arrives through other people. You may attract arguments, find yourself in power struggles with partners or colleagues, or see your own anger in others more easily than in yourself. Relationships can swing between passion and friction. Constructive outlets include working with partners towards a shared goal, playing sport or games together, and learning to disagree openly without trying to win. It helps to own your desires rather than waiting for someone else to act on them, and to treat a partner as a teammate rather than an opponent.
