Venus in the 7th house

The 7th house: Partnership, marriage, close one-to-one relationships, and open opponents.

Venus in the seventh house places your search for harmony right in the heart of partnership. Close one-to-one relationships, whether romantic, creative or professional, often matter enormously to you, and you may feel most yourself when you are part of a pair. You tend to be a considerate partner, quick to notice what the other person needs and generous in meeting it.

You value fairness, beauty and courtesy between people. You may be good at diplomacy, mediation and seeing the best in others, and you often attract partners who are charming, artistic or socially gifted. Working with others, rather than alone, can bring out your best qualities, and you may notice that your taste and judgement sharpen in good company.

The difficulty is losing yourself in the relationship. You may agree too readily, avoid conflict to keep things sweet, or depend on a partner for a sense of your own worth. Idealising someone can make it hard to see them clearly, and loneliness may push you into connections that do not really suit you. What helps is keeping your own interests and friendships alive, speaking up early when something feels wrong, and remembering that a good partnership has room for two whole people.
