In the fourth house, Neptune softens and sometimes blurs your sense of home and family. Your early home may have felt magical, unclear or marked by some absence or sacrifice, and you may carry a longing for a perfect place of belonging. Home often needs to be a sanctuary for you, somewhere to dream and withdraw from the world, filled with music, water, art or whatever soothes you.
The gift is a capacity to create a home full of imagination, compassion and peace. The difficulty is idealising family or the past, or feeling unsure where your roots truly lie. You may also take on relatives’ moods or burdens without noticing. Seeing your family history clearly, with compassion rather than either blame or rose-tinted glasses, often brings a quiet strength. A sense of home can be built, not only found.
