Neptune in the 10th house
The 10th house: Career, reputation, public standing and direction.
In the tenth house, Neptune brings idealism and some uncertainty into career and public life. You may want a vocation that feels like a calling, often in creative, caring, spiritual or imaginative fields. Others may project onto you, seeing you as glamorous, mysterious or a little hard to pin down, and your public image can take on a life of its own that does not quite match how you feel inside.
The gift is the ability to inspire, to bring compassion or artistry into public life. The difficulty is vagueness about direction, changing aims, or disillusionment when a role does not match the ideal. You may also find it hard to promote yourself. Defining a few concrete steps towards your calling, and accepting that every real job includes ordinary tasks, helps the dream find solid form.
