Scryway

Mercury in Libra

diplomacy · fairness · balanced judgement · indecision

You tend to think by comparing: this view against that one, your feeling against someone else’s. Your mind often looks for balance and fairness, and you may be quick to see the merit in an opinion you do not share. You may learn best in dialogue, through discussion, partnership and bouncing ideas off another person, and you can find solitary study oddly flat. Beauty in how something is expressed may matter to you as much as its content.

In conversation you are usually gracious and diplomatic, able to say difficult things in a way people can hear. You may be a natural mediator, helping others find common ground. You often listen well and reflect back what people mean. Decisions, however, can take a long time, because you genuinely see several sides and may worry that choosing one will be unfair to the others. Setting a deadline, or asking which option you would regret not trying, can help you land.

The blind spot is keeping the peace at the expense of honesty. You might agree outwardly while disagreeing inwardly, soften a message until it no longer says anything, or adopt the opinion of whoever you are with. Over time this can leave others unsure what you really think, and leave you resentful. Growth comes from trusting that a clear view, kindly put, is itself a form of fairness. At best, your mind brings justice, courtesy and real thoughtfulness to every discussion.
