North Node in Leo
self-expression · creativity · being seen · south node aquarius
With the North Node in Leo, growth points towards self-expression. The unfamiliar but rewarding direction is stepping forward as an individual, sharing your creativity, following your heart and letting yourself be seen and enjoyed. It may feel exposed or even self-indulgent at first, but it often brings joy and a warmer kind of confidence.
The South Node in Aquarius describes comfortable habits: thinking of the group, staying objective and championing causes and ideas. You may be at ease in teams and good at seeing the bigger social picture. These are strengths to build on, but you can hide in detachment, letting the collective speak for you so you never risk standing out. Some astrologers describe the South Node as a past-life pattern; it can equally be read as a well-worn habit. The nodes spend about eighteen months in each sign, so many your age share this; your houses show where the call to shine is most personal.
The basics
North Node (direction, growth, appetite): Not a body but the point where the Moon's path crosses the ecliptic northward. Modern astrology often reads it as a direction of growth; traditional astrology treats it more simply as a point of increase.
Leo (Fire, fixed; ruled by Sun): expression, warmth, pride.
