Tree

Meaning

The Tree stands for health, both physical and in the wider sense of how well something is rooted and growing. It works slowly: change it describes takes seasons. It can also point to family roots and what has been inherited.

As a person

Someone steady and slow to change; a carer or healer.

In combinations

First in a pair, the Tree names health, or something growing slowly. Second, it describes the card before it: something that is long-term, rooted or a matter of health.

• House + Tree: Family roots, the family home, or health at home.
• Tree + Coffin: A health concern that calls for rest, or a long-standing matter coming to an end.
• Tree + Sun: Good health and returning vitality.

As a house in the Grand Tableau

Position 5 is the house of the Tree. Health: the body, vitality and long growth.
