Ring

Meaning

A bond. The Ring is commitment: a contract, an agreement, a partnership or marriage, a promise kept. It also means cycles, things that come round again. Where it falls shows what you are bound to, for better or worse.

As a person

A partner or spouse; someone committed.

In combinations

First in a pair, the Ring names a commitment, a contract or a partnership. Second, it describes the card before it: something that is agreed, committed or bound by a promise.

• Scythe + Ring: A broken agreement or a commitment ended suddenly.
• Heart + Ring: A loving commitment: engagement, marriage, a promise of love.
• Ring + Coffin: The end of a contract or a partnership.
• Letter + Ring: A contract on paper; a signed agreement.

As a house in the Grand Tableau

Position 25 is the house of the Ring. Commitments: contracts, partnerships and cycles.
