Meaning
A person card. The Man stands for the reader if he is a man, or for an important man in the reading, such as a partner. In the Grand Tableau the cards around him describe his situation, and what lies ahead of or behind him by the direction he faces.
As a person
The reader, if a man; otherwise a significant man.
In combinations
First in a pair, the Man names a man, or the reader. Second, it describes the card before it: something that concerns a man, or concerns you.
